Work, Transformed: A Glimpse of Heaven’s Worship
What heaven's worship has to do with your Monday morning.
One of Bob’s life messages comes from Revelation 4 and 5, about the worship scene in heaven, the beauty of the Lord, and the pleasure of being in his presence.
He had told the Lord that he wanted his first book to be on that passage … and so it was: As It Is in Heaven.
We want this beautiful passage of scripture to inform our lives and the lives of our clients. It’s the big picture why-we-do-what-we-do. Not a long book, but deep and rich, a book in free verse poetry, so the reader is able to pick it up and set it down quickly, but savor each page, too.

God rewards
Even a small step toward him.
As he becomes
The focus of our lives,
Our work becomes the life-giving overflow
Of our passion for Christ
Instead of just
Draining busyness in an attempt to please him.
Lord Jesus, thank you that you care about every part of our lives. That you give us dreams and then give us the ability to carry out those dreams.
Thank you for your beauty and your kindness. We long to walk with you in obedience. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
