The God of the Fifty-Millionth Chance Says: “Push the Reset Button”

Bob Perry, co-founder of Workplace Prayer, prayed this powerful prayer for business leaders ... one of my all-time favorites.

The Lord says: push the reset button. Quit looking in the past. Quit looking at mistakes that you made.
I have a major message of hope for you, and for others you serve.
You feel like the season of promise has passed you by, for your business, for your finances, and for your family.
But the answer is NO.
Our God is the God of the fifty millionth chance.
He gives you another chance. He wipes away shame, disappointment, and failure.
Things do go in seasons.
But the Holy Spirit is saying, “Push the reset button again.”
Yes, look over those old promises.
Yes, look over those old prophecies.
Yes, look over those old dreams.
Yes, look over those old desires that have not been fulfilled yet.
And let your heart beat again with hope.
You can rise up because the Resurrected One lives inside of you.
As you push the reset button on your promises, and on your prophecies, and over your prayers, the Lord will fulfill the assignments for you.
So, Lord, we come together. It’s been a battle for many of us. It feels like we’ve died to certain areas, desires, promises, prayers, passions.
But, Jesus, thank you that you breathe life.
We claim that life now.
And we push the reset button! Amen!
