Pray for the Billionaires
Why to pray through the list of the world’s wealthiest people.
One morning I was praying with Bob, when he said, “I was praying through the list of billionaires.”
“I’m sorry, Bob, what did you say?”
It turns out that one of the ways that he has prayed for the world for decades is to pull the list of the world’s wealthiest people, and then, every week, ask the Lord, “Who are you highlighting? Who needs prayer?”
And then he prays for them.
Lord, please turn this person’s heart to you. As this person has more power than most kings throughout history, please give them the wisdom from heaven. May they do good things in the world. Send your people to minister grace. May there be more godliness in these levels of influence.
We recognize that money offers significant opportunities to impact the world.
We want godly wisdom in those places of power.
Whether you join Bob in praying for the billionaires or not, this is just one example of macro-level prayer that we are praying here at Workplace Prayer.
Individual requests: yes.
But also global, large-scale requests.
All of it matters to God.
We’d be happy to pray for you.
The king has lavished on us the wealth of his grace,
