How Do You Pray Protection Over Your Home and Land?
A prayer I’d never considered, passed down from Corrie ten Boom, to Rosemarie Claussen, to Bob Perry
Bob’s little mountain community hosts an annual Rhododendron Festival. All of the community comes into the county seat, and it’s not a large county seat, so maybe 10,000 people on a good festival. But that’s a significant boost in the normal traffic in that area.
Before the traffic picked up, he prayed a prayer that was new to me, one that he learned from Rosemarie Claussen, mentored by Corrie ten Boom.
Lord, you have given me this particular property to steward. I pray that as more people than normal drive by, that you would defend the borders of this land. Let no one drive by with envy or with cursing in their eyes.
Protect us and shield us and our property. May only goodness and blessing come in. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
