Blessing the Hands That Serve Us
An invitation to bless everyone who touches our physical bodies.
Bob said that, from the time he was a young believer, he determined that when he went to the doctor or the dentist, he wanted to bless them as they served him.
These days, Bob has a particular dentist who is very intuitive, and that man said, “Wow, you have such positive energy coming to me! Thank you!” Not a believer, but felt the blessing—so interesting!
I started to think about all the people who care for us physically. Some on this list have helped our family; others care for our bodies more generally.
• Manicures and pedicures
• Salon and barber
• ER visits
• Eye doctor and vision therapist
• Audiologist
• Physical therapist
• TSA screening
• Dentist and orthodontist
• OB/GYN and midwife
• Dermatologist
• Chiropractor
• Massage therapist
• Oncologist and other specialists
• Lab technicians for bloodwork and other tests
Lord, may we be released to bless those who are seeking to bless us and help us. May we be a light in the different places that we go to. We are grateful for those who help our bodies feel good. Please bless them in the work that they do. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
Whatever you do, do it with love,
Amy Joy
