A Lung Became Available: A Transplant Miracle
An employee’s husband needed a lung to live. Then one became available: the right size, at the right time.
One of our Workplace Prayer clients had a key employee’s spouse develop lung disease. This would prove terminal if he didn’t get a lung transplant.
At some point during this extended health challenge, the key employee accepted a role in another organization, which allowed her to keep her salary, but work about half the number of hours. A blessing for her, as she dealt with long-term care.
(A bummer for our client, as they were down one key employee, and unsure where to replace that role in the specific economy at that time. But God provided a replacement.)
Some months later, we heard: “[He] got a lung transplanted this past week. The surgery went well and he is still in recovery.
“It’s a miracle a lung became available. He needed a specific size.
“[The former employee] said his color looked better already.”
It’s an honor to pray for the needs of our clients and their businesses. It’s an honor to be a small part of how God is at work in the world.
We’d love to pray for you and your business, too.
Let us bless God,
Amy Joy
